In the book the stepfather Phil dies and the mom cries alot, She cries all day and it reminded me of when my grandma died. It was last summer and my mom and my big sister cried so mutch, I did´nt cry at first becuse i coulden´t belive it. After a while when i realized that i would never meet her again i started to listen to sad songs. Now i just think about here and sometimes i hope that she looks down at me and are proud of me.
